Powerful tool to improve and expand maps on the geocaching pages.

GME is a powerful script for improving and enhancing maps on the geocaching pages Browse Map, Cache Listing, Trackable Map and Hide a Geocache. The script offers alternative map types, a comprehensive location information tool, a tool for route planning and saving, it integrates waypoints and corrected coordinates into the map display and enables the display of tracks/routes.

It was developed in Javascript and runs with all common script managers in all common browsers. It is free of charge and without any advertising.

The original GME script comes from jri, but has not been maintained since 2018. The last official version is 0.8.2. The original forum thread for the GME script is in the geocaching country forum "United Kingdom and Ireland". There is some information about the script on the inventor's original GME page.

GME ist ein mächtiges Script zur Verbesserung und Erweiterung von Karten auf den Geocaching Seiten Browse Map, Cache Listing, Trackable Karte und auf den Seiten zum Verstecken eines Geocaches. Das Script bietet alternative Kartentypen, ein umfangreiches Standort Informations Tool, ein Tool zur Routenplanung und -speicherung, es integriert Wegpunkte und korrigierte Koordinaten in die Kartenanzeige und ermöglicht die Anzeige von Tracks/Routen.

Es ist in Javascript entwickelt und läuft mit allen gängigen Script Managern unter allen gängigen Browsern. Es ist kostenlos und ohne Werbung.

[Browse Map] Specify number of decimals for the measured distance of the route.

Describe the solution you'd like

With this feature you can set the number of decimals that are displayed for the measured distance of the Route Tool route.

By default, for distances of one kilometer or more, one decimal is displayed and for distances of ten kilometers or more, no decimals are displayed, as was the case before these adjustments.

What's new is the ability to always display a certain number of decimals from one kilometer onwards, regardless of the distance. This means that even over long distances, smaller changes to the route become visible.
