If multiple (e.g., three) pairs of \footnotemark and \footnotetext need to be inserted in the same block environment, then the superscript number of the mark is different (e.g., 1, 2 and 3), but the superscript number for the text is the same (e.g., 3). A workaround is to use the optional argument of \footnotetext and put the count backwards. Use \footnotemark as normally would. Put the following outside the block for the text:
\footnotetext[\numexpr\value{footnote}-2]{Text for first footnote}
\footnotetext[\numexpr\value{footnote}-1]{Text for second footnote}
\footnotetext{Text for third footnote}

As of TeXLive version 2022, using libertine font leads to incorrect header formatting. A workaround is to use Latexmk with TeXLive version 2018 or before.
