i was just thinking about this! particularly the whole screen shifting left/right depending on move direction was makin me a little queasy

this all feeds back into #58 i think! the more we can compartmentalize features like these (making them separate scripts/nodes/scenes/etc) the easier it will be to deal with merges but also it will making toggling stuff on/off a lot easier to implement

I think it would be nice to have barely noticeable camera shake and effects on by default. And then the ability to turn it completely off. Or turn it to extreme.

Implemented in #296. While accessibility is an ongoing thing, the specific changes mentioned here have been addressed.
