Issue Description

After following the official steps to add the Visual Studio Code repository to a Debian-based system, I encountered an error when using the apt-get command:

E: Conflicting values set for option Signed-By regarding source https://packages.microsoft.com/repos/code/ stable: /usr/share/keyrings/ms-archive-keyring.gpg !=  E: The list of sources could not be read.

Solution

Ran the following command to remove the problematic source list file:

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ms-vscode.list
