eightbit-atari-fonts's Issues

Narrow version of fonts .ttf

It would be nice to have narrow fonts (2 x taller than wide). Is it possible to do? Or is there a simple tool to do this?

"Russisch" TTF font doesn't match font sample PNG

Hi,

The font EightBit Atari-Russisch font sample doesn't match the TTF font that's distributed in the Git repo.

Screenshot attached. It looks like a Hebrew-ish font got copied into the place of EightBit Atari-Russisch.

Thanks!

Font name issues when multiple are installed

I installed a few fonts to see how they worked. They're great, and I love the variety that you've found. (I'll probably import them all into Omnivore at some point, thank-you-in-advance!)

On linux, each application seems to show the fonts differently. There are 3 fonts installed:

$ ls -l ~/.fonts/EightBit\ Atari-*
-rw-r--r-- 1 rob users 123240 Mar 11 09:30 '/home/rob/.fonts/EightBit Atari-Balloon.ttf'
-rw-r--r-- 1 rob users 124972 Mar 11 09:34 '/home/rob/.fonts/EightBit Atari-Homepack.ttf'
-rw-r--r-- 1 rob users 113060 Mar 11 09:28 '/home/rob/.fonts/EightBit Atari-Regular.ttf'

Gimp shows there are 3 different fonts, but they all share the name "Eightbit Atari" and I can't tell if the font sample is different or from the same font:
gimp-font-list
Libre office shows one font and it seems to use the glyphs from Regular
libre-office-font-menu
And the wxPython font dialog shows the 3 font names, but uses the glyphs from Balloon and also somehow finds some bold/italic versions as well.

Are the original bytes available for the dumped character sets?

I'm looking at https://github.com/TheRobotFactory/EightBit-Atari-Fonts (outstanding work by the way)

I can view the font PNGs and see the TrueType fonts. But what I'm looking for is the actual Atari-format (FNT) bytes that define theses character sets. I see these are excluded in .gitignore... can they be posted?

--> Basically I want to incorporate your character set data. The problem is these fonts are not native to my ROM (and recreating the data from your screenshots would duplicate work, which I think you already have locally)
