freemocap_playground's Introduction
1) To use the NIH GUI, run the NIH_GUI.py file 2) When the GUI appears, press the 'Load a session folder' button to load in the session you'd like to use 3) You can optionally load in a video as well 4) You can save frame intervals for specific conditions by choosing them from the dropdown menu and typing in starting and ending frames, and saving them to the table 5) Running the balance assessment will calculate path length for the intervals and bring up path length histograms of the data 6) Choose a name for the folder that will contain the data analysis results - this folder will be saved within the 'data_analysis' folder in your session 7) Press 'Save out data analysis' results to save out data

freemocap_playground's Issues
Create a pandas dataframe for the body, right hand, left hand and face from mediapipe data
- potentially model the dataframe off of pose2sim methods
- decide if reprojection error should be in the dataframes or not
- check mediapipe documentation for body part names
Plan post-processing analyses
Figure out clinically valid Qualisys marker placement
- Talk to Josh/Corey/Kara/whoever in Stefanik lab
Hijack pose2sim trace file maker
- convert data into a pandas dataframe that can be potentially taken in by pose2sim methods to convert into a .trc file?
- create a dataframe from freemocap data
- make dataframes for body, right hand, left hand and face (separately)
- check mediapipe documentation for names for body parts
Implement gap filling methods (interpolation)
- fill gaps in freemocap data
- check pose2sim methods
Add a readme to the validation github
Plan experimental design
Time sync and resample data
- Figure out time syncing method between freemocap and qualisys
- Downsample qualisys data? Upsample freemocap data? Both?
Load .trc file into opensim
- check if we need to make a new opensim model
- see if pose2sim has an opensim model written for mediapipe
Discuss the state of the freemocap validation github
Scale .trc file to a mediapipe model in OpenSim
Write code to convert clinical Qualisys markers into anthropometric skeleton data
Implement butterworth filter for freemocap data
- look at pose2sim filtering methods
Create documentation for the validation github
Figure out plan for time synchronization
- Camera flash? Arduino with TTL pulse tied to Qualisys trigger?
Figure out which equipment to use for NIH toolbox
- iPad?
- Other accelerometers (use Delsys EMGs/IMUs)
- Lit review of other uses for toolbox
