image-customise's Introduction

Windows Customised Defaults

Customise a Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 image with default user profile settings, in-box application removal / updates, and OS configurations to improve the end-user experience.

Designed for use with deploying physical PCs and virtual desktop gold images, these customisations will also work other Windows images including Windows Server infrastructure roles.

Documentation on how to use and implement these scripts is found here: Windows Customised Defaults.

image-customise's Issues

Remove AppxApps, Appx.Apps.json

Why is Appx.Apps.json not used to remove Appx packages? Is there a reason that these are hard stored in the Remove-AppxApps.ps1. Or is there a way to use the JSON?

Install-Defaults.psm1 missing Hypervisor

In Line 99 "Function" Get-Model, the Citrix Hypervisor is missing... HVM*

function Get-Model { $Hypervisor = "Parallels*|VMware*|Virtual*" if ((Get-CimInstance -ClassName "Win32_ComputerSystem").Model -match $Hypervisor) { $Model = "Virtual" } else { $Model = "Physical" } Write-Output -InputObject $Model }
