j2s

Application that allow transform json files to SQL scripts

Known limitations

  1. JSON objects in *.json file must be placed on each line (1 JSON object per 1 line)
  2. Now supports:
Source JSON file type
MongoDB Compass export file
Output SQL syntax
Postgre SQL

How to use

  1. Download from release page
  2. Run j2s command without any argument in your favorite command line shell - you will show help information

psql - fix table definition for json_to_recordset...as...

Now files with INSERT statement generates with this script:

insert into dbo.table-name (
    "column1"
)
select
    "column1"
from json_to_recordset('
[
{...}
]') as x(
    "column1" text not null

Phrase not null is an incorrect syntax. Need to remove it.
