As long as the first and last point have the same y coordinate, they should be able to roam. However, this opens the possibility of having waveforms that do not cross 0, which is not ideal... Perhaps we can learn from Xenakis' implementation on this subject.

Non-linear interpolation options

Trying to use this in my page by doing so:

  latencyHint: "interactive",
  sampleRate: 44100,
});
const gainNode = new GainNode(audioCtx);

var gendy = new Gendy(audioCtx);
gendy.connect(gainNode).connect(audioCtx.destination)
gendy.init();

No sound so far. Is something changed or am missing some trivial step? The demo is not working too, so I presume there is something else that must be added here.
