switchme's Issues

"Next Search Rebug and Press Install"

Trying to make a new UF2 for Hekate 5.5.1 to give me support for 11.0.1 HOS, and when I get to your step "Next Search Rebug and Press Install" The only board that appears is "SwitchME SAMD Boards", nothing else. This is preventing me from proceeding any further on this. Any help would be appreciated.

Can't load the new UF2 file

Hello,

When I save the uf2 file , rename it on "CURRENT.UF2" and drag it into my rebug chip, the drive not disappear..

I try again with the old verion hecate 4.6 and no problem with it, the drive disapear

Any idea ?
Thanks

Part list is wrong

I believe the part list to be wrong.

I purchased the parts and printed the boards and purchased the parts listed and have since found that the file BOMList_SwitchME_last.txt does not match the parts in SwitchME_Final_v3_BOM.csv

Specifically the ATSAMD21E18A chip does not match. The version in the .csv file does not fit.

I believe the correct part to be:
https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/microchip-technology/ATSAMD21E18A-MU/ATSAMD21E18A-MU-ND/4935887
which is from BOMList_SwitchME_last.txt. It's the same chip as before, but in a different package. The hopefully correct package is QFN32_5MM. I have purchased that chip and will report back in a few days when it arrives.

End-user help on compiling payloads

While I'm aware there are "universal" solutions, there is also value to having a full payload that can actually function on its own on the chip itself (such as with a failing memory card slot which has happened to me twice before.) It could really be beneficial to be able to update the SwitchMe chip more frequently with at least the really major updates from Hekate after major features change (especially major compatibility changes.) I like to update my SwitchMe with the major updates that make compatibility changes in case of a memory card failure so I can still at least perform a few emergency operations with it, but that hasn't been possible for a long time now. Unfortunately, the last update on here was a year ago for a now quite outdated version.

A really nice long term solution would be if there were some sort of simple script to automate the process of compiling updated payloads for the SwitchMe. If end users can do it themselves then it wouldn't really make much difference how frequently it's updated after all.

Alternately, if there were at least basic instructions for the process in the SwitchMe readme or something it would help enormously. I wasn't able to find any in the past as it seems like people who know how to do it find it intuitive enough they don't think to write it down as nearly as I can tell.

New 6.20 firmware

Hello, I tried unsuccessfully to compile atmosphere 8.1 to uf2.
Is it possible to have the file already compiled in fs2 of atmosphere 8.1?
For now is the only way to use 6.20 firmware
Thank you
