Check the connections thoroughly, sometimes connections remain loose and motors don't work.
Arduino Uno not giving required input
In this case...
The pin may be defective to which motor driver is connected.
Whole Arduino may be defective.
If the battery is not giving the required input, check the connections between the battery and motor driver.
Motor Driver may be defective.
