chatgpt-widescreen's Issues

Buttons invisible in light mode

I'm using ChatGPT in light mode and the Chrome extension and the buttons aren't visible. They're there, if I hover over them, I get a tooltip and clicking works too, but since the prompt is white and the buttons are white too, they're invisible.

Safari Upload Button Bug

Hi, I have problems with Safari using either Stay or Tampermonkey.

First load, no problem.

But after changing pages and going back, sporadically, this grey + button appears. A way to reproduce is by clicking the New + button straight away. If you refresh, it's gone.

Another issue in Safari is the alignment is a little bit off center, but I don't know this is Safari specific:

I can confirm that all your other extensions work in Safari completely fine!

PS. I think you should add a refined version of this Auto-send next response script to your portfolio of efficient ChatGPT Userscripts! Right now, the design is clunky because you have to navigate to the menu. It would be cool if it used ChatGPT.js! One idea I had, is that you could make a rule that if the response has one or two extra returns at the end, it's auto-sent. Because if you press enter while it's still responding, it adds a return to the textfield. You couldn't auto-send if the text field contained simply any text, because it would auto send while you were still typing. Maybe you could go based on focus or some other advanced techniques. I had a try myself to put it together, but I am no JS expert :)

Remove footer div "ChatGPT may produce inaccurate...."

The div at the bottom of the page takes up a lot of space on a smaller (non-mobile) screen. It would be really smart if you could add a menu option to hide this div if people want to.

The classic footer:

Without the disclaimer div:

and when you remove the help div too, it's even better:

Wide screen mode cut off the indicator to switch between ChatGPT replies

To reproduce:

  • Open a new tab with ChatGPT, choose Wide Screen mode
  • Enter a prompt, then click "Regenerate Response"
  • Drag 1 the right or the left side of the browser window to resize it and see the bug.

It's supposed to look like this

Instead, you can have the indicator partially covered

Or almost completely covered

Feature request: Have the text input expand larger to fit large input

When I put in a very large chunk of text and I want to edit it I need to scroll up and down quite a lot. Was wondering if there's a way to expand the input box larger (for me it can take up the whole screen, I just need to press Enter to submit it anyway). Don't know if you support this feature but I thought I'd just file a request for it. Thanks a lot!

Text field issue (Safari only?)

Depending on the size of the browser window, the text field resizes. However it could use use adjustment, as my average browser window size on a 13inch screen could benefit from a wider text field. You can see that when I make the window smaller, it widens and fits the page.
