OpenWRT 21.02

Join the chat at https://gitter.im/adde88/openwrt-useful-tools

(For WiFi Pineapple MK7 Firmware >= v2.0.0)

Here you will find ALOT of different tools that i consider useful!
There are seperate branches for different versions of OpenWRT which is running on either the WiFi Pineapple MK6 (NANO/TETRA) or the MK7 (Hak5 Firmwares)
Packages for the older firmwares for the Pineapple MK7 can be found at the packages-19.07_mkvii branch of this repo, which i will try to continue on updating!

Hi! I installed your sslstrip with opkg and when i try to run it with sslstrip it says
ImportError: cannot import name certificate_transparency

Anyway to fix this? Thanks your help is appriciated.

hcxtools mipsel

Hi adde88!
I have been using your compilations for a long time in OpenWrt and they are really very useful!
Could I bother asking you to compile all hcxtools ipk for mipsel on the 19.x branch?
Thank you

How do I install these?

Hey, I've been looking for answers online and I can't find out how to install the modules on my mk7.

hostapd mana light

Soo im trying to install hostapd mana light but iget this error

root@OpenWrt:~# opkg install hostapd-mana-light_2.6-3_ar71xx.ipk

Add the hcxpcapngtool utility

I installed hcxdumptool on my router. It showed great results. I would like to have the hcxpcapngtool package for the complete package, for quick hash conversion right on the device. Would a respected developer have time to compile hcxpcapngtool for OpenWRT?

Unable to install mitmproxy.

I have been attempting to install mitmproxy on my MK7 in almost every way, and coming back to the .ipk file provided here.
I get this error while installing:

root@mk7:~# opkg install ./mitmproxy-new_8.1.1-1_mipsel_24kc.ipk
Unknown package 'mitmproxy-new'.
Collected errors:
 * pkg_hash_check_unresolved: cannot find dependency python3-brotlicffi for mitmproxy-new
 * pkg_hash_check_unresolved: cannot find dependency python3-cssutils for mitmproxy-new
 * pkg_hash_check_unresolved: cannot find dependency python3-urwid for mitmproxy-new
 * pkg_hash_fetch_best_installation_candidate: Packages for mitmproxy-new found, but incompatible with the architectures configured
 * opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package mitmproxy-new.

Is there a way to work around this? Have I done something wrong?

Thanks for your help

WiFi Pineapple 2.0

Hello,

There is 2.0 in beta and they updated to OpenWRT 21.02.1.

I do not know how your build system works and if it is automated, but if it is trivial, could you release 21.02.1 branch?

Error installing sslstrip mk7

mdk4 no output

if i run mdk4 wlan0mon d, terminal not display anything is like stuck not output, how can be fix using litbeam m5 OpenWrt 19.07.9, i installed wireless tools to run from oficial repos, if not install wireless-tools get Can't find wireless tools, exiting.
open interface wlan0mon failed.
Starting OSDEP failed

Bettercap 2 fix

I noticed when running bettercap 2 I'm targeting the WiFi enabled router from my pineapple and sometimes I can capture network traffic other times it doesn't pull through.

Why can't I capture on br-lan interface If you need more information let me know

Upgrade hcxdumptool to a newer version.

Now the latest version of hcxdumptool is 6.3.2. This utility has a lot of interesting and useful features. I would like to ask the respected developer to update this wonderful tool to the latest version.

bettercap: Pressing Enter causes ^M to appear in terminal

I noticed this 'bug' when i was testing out Bettercap on my Pineapple MK7.
I was SSH'ing into the Pineapple from Putty on my Windows desktop, and i tried running bettercap.
It launched normally. But when i tried to run 'help', i couldn't get the enter button to work as intended. Everytime i tried pushing it ^M would appear instead. (Screenshot below)
Screenshot_4

I then tried SSH'ing into the Pineapple from my Kali desktop, and the same thing would happen there.
Except, when i pressed 'Control-Enter' it would behave as a normal 'Enter' press.
This "trick" did NOT work when i tried it on my Windows desktop.

I'm not sure what's causing this to happen. I had installed 'coreutils-stty' on my Pineapple.
And when i checked 'stty -a' i saw that 'icrnl' was turned on, as it should be.

Hostapd-mana

Hi,

Im having an issue with running hostapd-mana on a wifi-pineapple mark VII.

I keep getting the error below (have tried all the interfaces).

nl80211: Could not configure driver mode
nl80211: deinit ifname=wlan1 disabled_11b_rates=0
nl80211 driver initialization failed.
wlan1: interface state UNINITIALIZED->DISABLED
wlan1: AP-DISABLED
hostapd_free_hapd_data: Interface wlan1 wasn't started

the config file looks like this:

interface=wlan1
ssid=test
channel=6
hw_mode=g
wpa=3
wpa_key_mgmt=WPA-EAP
wpa_pairwise=TKIP CCMP
auth_algs=3
ieee8021x=1
eapol_key_index_workaround=0
eap_server=1
eap_user_file=hostapd.eap_user
ca_cert=ca.pem
server_cert=server.pem
private_key=server.key
private_key_passwd=
dh_file=dhparam.pem
mana_wpe=1
mana_eapsuccess=1

Do you know what the problem could be?

bettercap: Wifi recon leads to "Cannot set rfmon for this handle" error

You may have some trouble launching wifi recons on bettercap:
Screenshot

The problem comes from libpcap build on openwrt, there's a patch which prevents from enabling monitor mode.

I rebuilt the library without this patch and it works flawlessly.

Update: the patch has been removed from the new version of libpcap. I didn't test but the bug may be fixed by upgrading to 1.10.0
