Thank you.
After configure command, in Makefile.in I replaced line number 351,352 from
-Wl,--gc-sections
-Wl,--as-needed
to
-Wl,-dead_strip
-Wl,-dead_strip \
and fixed the error as per your suggestion..

I downloaded the latest master, but ./configure is not working.
./configure: No such file or directory

When you run from git, you have to run ./autogen.sh first. In case it
fails, I'll prepare a gzip with configure for you.

When i used ./autoge.sh, i got the following error
Makefile.am:39: warning: source file 'src/normals.c' is in a subdirectory,
Makefile.am:39: but option 'subdir-objects' is disabled
so i added this to Makefile.am at the top...
AUTOMAKE_OPTIONS = subdir-objects
and was able to complete autogen. But in configure i am getting this error.
configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: error: cannot find input file: `Makefile.in'
