workfront.en's Issues

Updated Desktop Viewer pkg unavailable

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/review-and-approve-work/proofing/use-the-desktop-proofing-viewer/installing-desktop-proofing-viewer.md

we need the latest pkg for desktop viewer -- I see the links are going to 2.1.23 and we need 2.1.24

Instruction does not exist

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/workfront-fusion/scenarios/templates/fusion-templates-adminstration.md

I am trying to find out how to clone a scenario as a template

At the bottom of this page, there is a reference to 'cloning' a scenario as a template', it links to another page, but there is no instruction on that page - where is the location of the instruction for 'Cloning a scenario as a template' please?

Needs an Update - Uses old terminology and excludes new capabilities

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/people-teams-and-groups/work-with-groups-and-teams/understanding-differences-and-similarities-between-groups-and-teams.md

we noticed, in conversation today, that you can filter for groups in the Workload Balancer (says planner on this list, we don't use planner anymore) - this says only teams are filterable in the resource planner.

Reference in Article does not exist - broken link and no instructions

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/workfront-fusion/apps-and-their-modules/workfront-proof-modules.md

Note the paragraph below references 'build' and links to 'build' in "this article" - but there is no 'build' section

Proof Type Specify whether you want the proof that is created to have a basic workflow or an Automated Workflow. Then fill out the fields that display for the proof type you chose. For example, if you chose Automated Workflow, fill out the Workflow Stages field to configure the stages. You can use output from the Build module here if you include and run that module earlier in the scenario. For more information, see Build in this article.

Section "Using the Count Filter" is very wrong

Pretty much the whole "Count" section is wrong (heading included). Please see the screenshot attached for my comments.

If you'd like me to review again after a revised version is drafted I'd be happy to.

Thank you

Regards, David.

Typo cost

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/workfront-basics/navigate-workfront/workfront-navigation/workfront-terminology-glossary.md

Please change cost to costs

Make Diagrams Larger

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/workfront-proof/wp-getstarted/workflow-examples/workflow-examples.md

In the 4 documents linked here, there are diagrams that show the proofing process. It would be nice to make these larger so people can actually see what is being explained.

Please review role access

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/workfront-fusion/organizations/organization-roles.md

according to this page, in the Scenarios table it looks like Members cannot Add/Delete/Edit scenarios. But I am a member of both an organization and a team in Fusion and and can do all those things. Same for Webhooks. I can probably do the same for the other objects, but I haven't tried.
I suggest a review of all Fusion access levels and what they can/cannot do.

Documentation Suggestion for Experience League Article, Add or edit an image or other asset widget in a custom form

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/administration-and-setup/customize-workfront/create-manage-custom-forms/add-widget-or-edit-its-properties-in-a-custom-form.md

Hey team, this is Luis Ramirez from the Assigned Support Engineering team at Adobe Workfront. I wanted to suggest adding a statement on Experience League article, Add or edit an image or other asset widget in a custom form regarding the ability to not add URL of images that are hosted under private links. Something like ensuring the link of the images being public would allow our customers to be aware of the URLs they are attempting to use when using this functionality. Currently, the article does not state anything regarding it, and we are receiving questions on why some links are invalid.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions on Slack @ Luis Ramirez or via email, [email protected]

Thank you for your assistance.

Incorrect url for api-unsupported

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/wf-api/api/deprecation-api-internal.md

The /api/ part does not work for api-unsupported in my testing. What did work was:

https://<domainname>.my.workfront.com/attask/api-unsupported/proj/4c70...

Incorrect Syntax for SUBSTR Function

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/reports-and-dashboards/reports/calc-cstm-data-reports/calculated-data-expressions.md

On this article, the example syntax for the SUBSTR function is the following:
SUBSTR({string}, number of start position, length of string)

This is incorrect; the 3rd condition is not the length of the string, it's the number of end position. It should be updated to the following:
SUBSTR({string}, number of start position, number of end position)

Please fix screenshot size/resolution

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/manage-work/tasks/task-constraints/latest-available-time.md

Throughout your docs, the screenshots are low-res and no larger view is available. Makes them useless.

Please allow me to view a larger version by clicking the embedded screenshot (like any other CMS does these days)

Article feedback

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/reports-and-dashboards/reports/text-mode/edit-text-mode-in-filter.md

I think it would be very helpful to have this article updated to include reference to this kind of text mode filter found in this article: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/workfront/using/reporting/reports/custom-view-samples/filter-items-by-comparing-two-fields.html?lang=en

A lot of users do not know that this is an option and it would be helpful to at least link to or include this as a type of filter and how to edit it.

getApiKey - wrong content-type?

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/wf-api/general/event-subs-api.md

When trying to fetch the API key using the recommended way via <hostname>/USER?action=getApiKey&username=<username>&password=<password>, I do get the error message Updates should be either a JSON list or map unless I change the header's Content-type to text/html.

Type

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/home.md

You spelled Wokfront on page 1

Customer shared for missing content on WF page

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/workfront-goals/goal-alignment/align-goals-by-connecting-them.md

From a Google customer:
I'm working on documenting Goals for our Googlers and noticed that this page seems to be missing the 1st of the two approaches to connecting goals.

It mentions 2 approaches - 1 being to connect the two goals. I had a user bring to my attention that it's not clear how this is done with the information on this page.

Is this page correct or missing something?

how do you add?

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/administration-and-setup/get-started-wf-administration/configure-your-firewall.md
The document states that the allow list is only for customers who are not onboarded onto admin console, and that customers who are should use a different set of instructions. But it doesn't tell you want to do. It only gives a list of domains. It does not tell you how/where to add them.

Missing error message

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/administration-and-setup/tips-tricks-and-troubleshooting/error-auto-provisioned-user-cant-log-in.md

The first sentence is "When an auto-provisioned user tries to log in for the first time, they receive the following error:

"

but the error isn't displayed.

Proofs are blurry when printing

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/review-and-approve-work/proofing/managing-proofs-within-workfront/print-proof-summary-in-wf.md

Documentation does not match banner on Sandbox page

Issue in ./help/quicksilver/administration-and-setup/set-up-workfront/workfront-testing-environments/wf-custom-refresh-sandbox-environment.md

documentation indicates: The scheduled refresh occurs at 12:00 AM on the given date, based on the timezone of the user that submitted the request.
Yet when we schedule a refresh of our sandboxes (currently refreshing SB02 more than SB01), the banner always indicates "(Mountain Time)" regardless of who schedules the refresh or what time zone they are in.

Workkfront Timesheets view comment box no given focus for user input

Couldn't find a "Feedback" option inside of WF webapp, so I came here.

With the latest updates to the webapp for Workfront, when I use Timesheets (99.9% of my interaction with WF), every time I choose to add a comment (almost every time I use WF) to an entry of hours, the box pops up as expected, and I go type my comment, then look up to see it's blank. 🤬

Please give the comment box focus to accept the, um, comments the box is there to take.
Also, I'd like WF to remember the collapsed/expanded state of each job in my list. If I have a lot of jobs, most don't get hours often, so I want only the ones that do to be expanded.

Thanks for autosave!
