About

Unity Shaders is an open source project containing a bunch of shader examples created in Unity. Featuring a fully interactive shader gallery containing over 30+ shaders! (HLSL & ShaderGraph variations included). Quickly swap backgrounds between skybox / solid colors to see your shader in a different environment.

unity-shaders's Issues

Isn't Lightweight Render Pipeline Deprecated?

Unity deprecated the LWRP for the URP, right? I know LWRP still exists in the package manager, but I am not sure why.

Anyway, as someone who has URP installed, I had to change the paths in shaders that reference the LWRP.

"You'll be expected to use Unity version 2019.3.0f6"

Isn't it the version of URP that counts - not the Unity version?

And breakage between minor version numbers for any project that's not touching the internals is pretty unlikely.

I suspect this advice is much more restrictive than it needs to be.

Camera Based Outline, Geometry with Sharp Edges

Have you tried testing your Camera Based Outline shader on a primitive cube? It works well on a sphere, but on the cube, the vertex expansion along the normals cause the sides of the cubes to separate from one another.
