sorry to keep bugging you. some of these requests seems really old like i already may have denied them at one point. But then again, maybe not! I did search my email field and saw I had corresponded with some of these folks about not allowing access since its for contractor's and DWR employees only. at any rate, I'm more concerned that I dont see some of our current DOT contractors listed in the approved users table (scott page at allstar advantage, jimmy harris at Ecolife, and the Frandsens). Am i seeing the entire list of approved users because those folks should show up since they enter data every week and as far as i know they aren't having any problems with their account.

There have been more and more members of the public recently trying to use the WVC Reporter to submit carcass observations. They request access and must be told that the reporter is for specific contractors and agency staff only. However, UDOT does have an "app for that" where the public can submit carcass observations.

UDOT staff offered the following, basic suggestions, but are open to alternate text, design, and placement.

Could we inquire with the AGRC folks to see if they could build a feature into the WVC app that allows users to manual click on the map to add a point? Adding locations by address or hwy / mile marker doesn't seem to work well. I usually add a point by manually entering a UTM on the desktop version if can't get it to work on my phone or if I am adding for other people. I think the ability to manual click on the map to add a point is intuitive and may cut down on our staff's reluctance to use the database. I know it is only saving a few mouse clicks but our bios are so busy they need this app to be as hassle free as possible. If it is cost prohibitive I will be sure to get our guys trained up on the app, it is really not that difficult to figure out.

The gp task and buffer service return a valid polygon but the query to the report points yields no results.
