Quick format question, in the C-21 MQF there’s a bunch of degree signs (°) but your system seems to auto translate these to asterisks (*). Is there a way around this? I’m looking to send up a revision to our current one soon. Thank you.

From user Mike: Allow the option to study in sequential order or randomized. I find it easier to begin learning a new MQF in sequential order, and then to solidify that memory to switch to random.
Note: The test is random right now

Nice job on the MQF app. Is there any way to add a “mark question” checkbox/designation to the questions in study mode? Ideally, one could mark questions that they got wrong or were unsure of and then subsequently execute a study mode session referencing only the subset of question that they had “marked”. Maybe upon selecting study one could have a choice of “Entire MQF” or “Marked Questions”.

Change “End Quiz” to “Back” and when selecting “Back” have the app save the user’s place. I’ve noticed that it starts over. It may be tough to get through 194 questions in one setting, but if I’m trying to learn the MQF, it would be nice to pick up where you left off.

Find images that look good as the app background for KC-10 and C-5s. @forcemobilestudios
Looking for suggestions on how we should update our data management model. Currently all MQF data is contained in individual JSON files and embedded in the app as it is delivered. This presents a few issues:
any change to an MQF requires a new app release
App Store Version can not include most airframe MQFs due to FOUO info. Note: we can release directly to EFBs with all MQFs.
people not on the team cannot make, share, or update MQFs.
Couple restrictions to think about as you submit your suggestions:
Looking forward to your suggestions.
Users have requested the ability to go back and or swipe between questions.
Better UX approach so users can become familiar with where everything is expected to live on the screen and not scroll after each question.
Current code is not commented at all

Let me know how I can help to get this online for T-6s!

Data on IL4 Gitlab (requires P1 SSO and App Gate)

When in Study mode, after running through all the questions, it would be great to repeat the missed questions again (with a few you got right) before starting the loop over. This “adaptive” mode allows the user to focus on weak areas. It would be similar to the Leitner System of flashcard study. In fact, adding a true Leitner mode may be good. It puts your questions into 3 “boxes”: unknown, known and mastered. Again…another way to focus on weak areas. At a minimum, the app should ask if you want to start the loop again before automatically going to the beginning; otherwise, if you hit next, you may miss your final score. Not a big deal, but it was unexpected when I went through one of the short MQFs.
Add a mechanism to notify users when there is a new update and give them directions on how to update with BB Work. (https://airmencoders.us/MQF#how-do-i-update-the-app)
Since we don't currently have server, thinking about setting that to trigger every 3 weeks. Thoughts?
How should we let users create and distribute their own MQFs?
This is related to issue #6 however that issue is about getting the data into the app. This issue is about generating the data.
Ideally we would have a system people could log into, build an MQF and save/share it with others. Currently we don’t have a hosting environment so looking for ideas for the interim.
This is a great issue for anyone in the community to pull, we would like to update the app to SwiftUI.
