Sample project problem of Akka.NET cluster connection

Instalation

  1. Install MediaMonkey
choco install mediamonkey
  1. Copy file sng.vbs to c:\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto

Running

  1. Build project MediaMonkey.Cli. Run it with elevated permissions. Register assembly (option 1) for COM use.

  2. Build and run Lighthouse project

  3. Build and run Tester.Cli project (it should successfully join cluster)

  4. Start MediaMonkey. Because of step 2 should assembly MediaMonkey.Akka.Agent be started in a startup process of MediaMonkey. Console window should pop up.

Remarks

  • Nugets are intentionaly not up to date because of problems with assembly loading.
  • If MediaMonkey.Akka.Agent in recompiled, MediaMonkey.Cli should be also. COM assembly reregistration is not needed.
  • If there are any problems with MediaMonkey.Akka.Agent F5 should start debugging in MediaMonkey environment.
