Google has put out a very helpful Query Explorer. If you're having trouble formating your queries, playing with the query explorer can be helpful.

Document partner questionnaire

It would probably be good to offer people a questionnaire or information sheet that they can give to partner's whose data they are pulling.

Should include things like:

  • By using this application, you are authorizing API requests to your analytics data. There are quotes on how much data can be pulled via API. If you have other applications also pulling from your data, you may exceed these limits.
  • An example data agreement that allows you to only pull data related to a certain purpose

Create blank date error reporting

Currently, if one of the dates you're trying to use for GA pulls is empty or not a date, the whole script fails.

I'd like to create a conditional or a try/except that handles that more gracefully. Maybe it continues but just logs the offending line? Maybe it prints text in the columns that don't have an accurate date?
