Installation instructions

cd backend folder, the npm install express

npm install -g nodemon npm install dotenv

  • npm install mongoose

Express App and API endpoint requests tested through Postman

Technologies

  • Postman
  • MongoDB Atlas & Mongoose for database
  • React for front-end components
  • Express and Node
  • JWT (JSON Web Tokens) for authentication & authorisation
  • Bcrypt for password hashing

Installing middleware

To run backend

  • cd backend
  • npm run dev

To run frontend

  • cd frontend
  • npm start
