@alanmackenzie I know it's been a while since you released the patch but the Simple Ads Fix is not working for me.

1. I'm using the patch < r/simpleads-fix-for-broken-update-hook-1594798-25.patch command
2. My core version is 7.33
3. I've downloaded the Simple Ads 7.x-1.8 version

I get the following error:

How can I fix this? I need the patch desperately.
