fist, a big thank you to you and the other contributors mentioned in the README.

To speed up archiving a whole year I ask myself if it would be possible to trigger the generation of (all or some number of) the documents in a first step. And to start the download of all in a second step.

This may avoid to busy-wait for the generation time at every document.

I'll start a POC about this, now

I've been searching for an automatic downloader for Heise magazines some years ago, but no avail. This changed. Thanks to you. :-)

I miss the feature to just get a single magazine, but fail to come up with a nice idea how to integrate this into the existing command line.

What do you think?

thanks for your great work to make it easy to download pdf files in the archive.

One issue remain in your scripts. If it is a zip-folder you can´t download them in the same automatic process.

Is it possible to change this by my own in an easy way or can you publish another script which do that great work ?

I can't download any magazine from ct or ix.

The Thumbnail gets downloaded but I think the Header is emtpy ( % 0, Total 0, Reveiced 0 ....)

As you mentioned I checked https://www.heise.de/select/ct/archiv/2022/1, there is a "download complete PDF". I can download the it. but there is a countdown to wait ( watermarking process?).

The script retries 3 times and then there is the "[ERROR] Could not download magazine issue. Please try again later."

Can you help?

currently there is a special offer where one can get one digital version of the next ix and access to the digital archive.

Using your script. the thumbnails can be downloaded, but it does not find the pdf:

Server did not serve a valid pdf (instead text/html;charset=UTF-8).

Retry every 15secs, max attemps 3.
