exact process followed with a fresh D2R installation yields no change.

I noticed today my Act2 mercs name is GUARD and is 95% to lvl 92 (i'm lvl 91) and cannot equip Infinity. My +40 Nova is also only 2700dmg., down from 5400 fully buffed. I couldn't figure it out. SO i deleted "-mod lootfilter -txt" from launcher...and guards name is normal, can equip infinity and my damage is normal.

Just checked amazon and her merc...all is normal on her.

i've restarted several times with and without the "-mod lootfilter -txt" and it does it every time

This is a HUGE bug since i can't equip infinity to merc..... unless this mod is dead...then it's finally dead

Thanks for making this, but I have like a 20 year PTSD with that hostile sound. How can we edit the sound high runes make when they drop? And do they have to be native within the game?

sur_rune.json missing. No light beam for Sur rune drop.

I was thinking of porting assets from the 2.4 version to the Alpha client in order to enable TCP/IP support. Has anyone tried it before?

I noticed some strange behavior after 2.4 patch. If my character has some specific charms in the inventory, game will freeze at loading screen.
I can disable mods, login, move "broken" charms to stash and re-enable mod again. Then when I try to move the charm from stash to inventory, game freezes and I have to force shut it down.

No idea what caused it, would appreciate any help, since this mod is very useful.
As temporary fix one can simply leave "broken" charms in the stash.

It would be nice if you could add what all this filter will change. I looked through some of the commits and was able to pick these out:

• Adds big box for Lem and higher runes
• Hides keys
• Hides Chipped, Flawed, Regular gems. Adds color to Flawless and Perfect gems.
• Hides Strangling Gas Potion, Fulminating Potion, Choking Gas Potion, Exploding Potion, Rancid Gas Potion, Oil Potion, Stamina Potion, Antidote Potion, Thawing Potion,
• Adds number to health and mana potions and shortens name
• Highlights Small and Grand charms
• Hides Arrows, Bolts
• Changes color of Scrolls of ID/TP and Tomes of ID/TP
• Changes color of small and full rejuv
• Adds sound effects for certain item drops (jewels, runes, charms, superior??)
• Low Quality / Cracked / Crude / Damaged items are black to attempt to blend in with the item box. Why not hide them???
• Big box for diablo/baal essence

thanks a lot for your help and i think i can run it successfully by packing the mod into a .mpq file. but can i get a copy of the original json files? I tried the cascview tool but it didn't work :( not sure if it is due to the disk space or something else...

i just want to compare the original files with your ones and see if i can change something by myself. thank u again~~

I just started editing items because of nystagmmus.i cant concentrate on multiple drops. I have to read each individual image. I hate how blizzard doesnt allow better quality of life...what are they, commies???....also since I play I think 640 800. It makes item tags way bigger.. and if your melee.. good luck trying not to run in the middle of packs to pick up junk...
I tried everything. Uninstall/install twice.

are there any instructions that explain how to turn back on the tags for chipped/flawed/normal gems?

Patch 2.4 removed the casting delay for several skills including Hydra. When using this filter, casting delay is still present in the live patch, both online ladder and offline

It seems the filter is not completely working in Spanish (I don't know about other languages). Whenever a high rune drops, I can hear the hostile sound but there are no visual changes and potion names still show fully.

Old:
Extract the loot filter files into your Data folder. When Windows prompts you, select overwrite all. If Windows does not prompt you to overwrite files, you fucked something up.

Note: Wasn't sure which of the 2 data folders, tried both didn't get any prompts, launched game and didn't work.

New:
Download the "D2R-Loot-Filter" .zip
Inside you will see these 2 folder locations where the Text and Json files are located.
C:\Users\PcUsername\Downloads\d2r-loot-filter-main.zip\d2r-loot-filter-main\Data\global\excel
C:\Users\PcUsername\Downloads\d2r-loot-filter-main.zip\d2r-loot-filter-main\Data\local\lng\strings
Copy those to these corresponding locations.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II Resurrected\Data\global\excel
C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II Resurrected\Data\local\lng\strings

Note: Based on the step 4 instructions it made it sound like you wanted us to extract the excel & strings folder Files (Txt&json) to the data folder. Then I pasted extra copy's into both Data Folders for nothing lol.
( Didn't seem to hurt anything, but Deleted the txt&jsons that i pasted by mistake that were not needed. )

Hi haven't found any keys since installing this loot filter, now it could just be dum luck but if it's the case is there any way to make then appear again?

You guys are worried about bans, yet you are making huge pick boxes - such things clearly break core game rules and most likely won't be left unnoticed. Pretty much same to me as if it was breakpoint hack.

It would be much more reliable and safer if it was a simple color lootfilter.
