Successfully patched. But DTS videos not playing through Video Center in browser. about videostation-ffmpeg-patcher HOT 10 CLOSED

It's first time I see this error message, but it looks like a VideoStation error

Could you please follow the procedure in issue template to give the issue report, so I can check what happens

from videostation-ffmpeg-patcher.

Here is the issue report output. While patching and unpatching printed info talks about ffmpeg3* and ffmpeg4*. But I have ffmpeg6* installed

Thank you for the feedback, did you uninstall/reinstall VideoStation and Advanced Media Extensions before installing my patcher ?

The other patchers are conflicting with mine, first step would be to be shure your VideoStation's and Advanced Media Extension's installations are clean, by removing and reinstalling the packages

I checked the Synology documentation about this error and it looks like your NAS is from "group 2": https://kb.synology.com/fr-fr/DSM/tutorial/Can_my_Synology_NAS_convert_videos_for_my_device

It means some format are not transcoded and you need to install a plugin in your browser or a Windows app, I have no idea which one, but as it's not an issue related to the wrapper, you'll have to ask the Synology support about it

I did that. Let me do again. Can you please confirm the following in this order?

1. Videostation uninstall and reinstall
2. AME uninstall and reinstall
3. ffmpeg6 uninstall and reinstall
4. Unpatch and patch using your wrapper
5. Reindex all media files from scratch for video station

It's perfect, but you don't need to delete the video station libeary so you don't need to reindex after :)

Okay, so you will have to contact the Synology support to ask them wich plugin you have to install on your computer
