libtcod-net's Issues

Make work under Linux/mono

Currently been working on this in VS 08 under Windows. Make sure project
can build and test programs work under mono.

Arrow up/down regression

For some reason we're no longer getting arrow up/down in the demo under
windows. Did a Linux fix break this.

Last Frame Flicker in Demo

"The 'last frame' text flickers on the first sample. Apparently, when the
time is too short, it prints something like 0.00000 instead of 0."

Project targets Any CPU

The solutions provided, as well as the compiled binaries and DLLs all
target Any CPU. This causes programs to crash when run on a 64-bit OS. The
solutions should have the target CPU changed to x86, and the binaries and
DLLs replaced with updated versions.

Cleanup Codebase

Before we release, make sure that variable names used internally/externally
fix naming scheme. Make sure class names make sense, and update tests.

Assumptions about 32-bit alignment abound

In the parts of the wrapper that attempt to match up unions and structs w\
the c/c++ versions, we assume some 32-bit isms. Whenever libtcod releases a
64-bit dll (never?), we should start to worry.

Altering font bitmap crashes program.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Using a paint program, I erased part of the letter "l" in the
terminal.bmp file. Program exits at line: rootConsole = new
TCODConsoleRoot( 80, 50, "tcodlib C# sample", fullscreen, fontReq );
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Same working demo program, except letter l should look different.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.11 on xp using VS2005.

Please provide any additional information below.
Sorry, I'm not experienced enough of a programmer to debug this or figure
out what is wrong. Initially, I was trying to alter the demo program to use
a larger font bitmap file. Ultimately, I narrowed down where the error was
originating from (first switching to same size bitmap font 128x128 and then
using an altered file of the original terminal.bmp). Apparently, it didn't
like any of the new font bitmap files I made, so I tried altering the
original, expecting the demo to work, but just show an altered letter "l".
Instead, it crashes at the line I mentioned above. I've included the
altered bitmap file font, but would appreciate any enlightenment. Also, I
could not locate a method called "setCustomFont" as described in the
libtcod online documentation under "2.1.2 Using a custom bitmap font".

Does not match libtcod documentation

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Trying to use the library.
2. Not succeeding.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A thin wrapper that matches what it wraps. Stuff that I don't know how to
use, because it's not documented.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.5.0rc1-2. Windows XP.

Please provide any additional information below.
I really wanted to like this. But I can't use it without working documentation.
