delete method is not implemented?

Looks like, delete and delete_all method is not implemented. Is the reason for the design policy?

Method soft_destroyed? should read attribute soft_delete_column?

soft_destroyed? executes SQL, now. But for performance, I think it's better to read attribute soft_delete_column.

I wonder why don't you do?

without_soft_destroyed does not work on deep nested models

はじめまして
databaseをmysql2で利用していたところ、
dependent_associationsの指定が4階層以上になると#without_soft_destroyedが正常に動作しませんでした
発行されているSQLを見る限り、4階層以上になるとrailsで組み上がるSQLがjoinsで繋げた通りの順番になっていないようです
