Dotfiles

These are my dotfiles. The things in here I use regularly are neovim, tmux, zsh, iterm, and git. Other stuff is just hanging around.

Setup

You should be able to just run rake, which will symlink dotfiles, install homebrew, install homebrew dependencies, setup vim-plug, and install neovim plugins.

This is a macOS-centric setup, but all the non-macOS specific stuff should work fine wherever.

Management

To update neovim plugins you can do rake vim:update.

migrate to xonsh

  • import zsh functions or rewrite them in xonsh
  • replicate keybinds for the typeahead completion
  • sort out colors totally

new astroid config

I wanna set up astroid again.

  • use with gmail
  • sync changes back to gmail
  • sync labels / tags with gmail
  • get crypto working

remove tmux config

I've decided it's more trouble that it's worth, going to try out not using it for a while but if / when I decide "no more!" I should rip it out

  • delete tmux config
  • remove related zsh aliases
  • remove vim <-> tmux integration plugins + config

audit neovim config

How much random crap is in there that I don't even use anymore? No one knows.

Take a look through and try to justify the inclusion of everything.
