Description

The Yoast Duplicate Post does everything this plugin does and more, so it doesn't make sense to continue supporting it. Update this repo's README to provide notice of deprecation, point users at Yoast Duplicate Post as a replacement, and archive the repo.

Acceptance Criteria

• Update the README to point users to the Yoast Duplicate Post plugin instead.
• Archive this repo, so it is still available, but it's made clear that it is not and will not be updated.

On publish of the cloned post, instead of reloading the edit post page, the user gets a "the link you have clicked has expired, try again".

After encountering this error, on the post list, you can see that both the clone and the original are both "published", & the clone has a unique slug (e.g "post-name-2" presumably because the original's slug wasn't removed).

Can not be installed under WP 3.8

Will there be a fix or is this Plugin not meant to be used above WP 3.6?

We can use JS to make a form on-the-fly and submit it. Currently, it's a GET request, which is just plain wrong for what it's doing.

To replicate,

1. Se post A to replace post B
2. Delete post A
3. post B has the warning that it's set to be replaced by post A

Steps to reproduce:

1. Clone post A; new clone is post B
2. Clone post B; new clone is post C
3. post C now has two _cr_original_post meta keys, one for post A, one for post B

When cloning a clone, _cr_original_post should be the most immediate clone only.
