I am not sure if you are still working on this or not.

I am interested in having a bootable sagasd.device for my Amiga 600. with Vampire 2.2.
I used Remus & RomSplit to integrate your sagasd.device into Kickstart 3.2.1.

I tried to use 2 MicroSD cards.

1. 32GB MicroSD card. Partitioning gave an error Write Error 29!
2. 128GB MicroSD card. Partitioning no problem.

Other problems...

1. Device appears in boot menu as SD0 regardless of partition device name.
2. Multiple partitions do not appear in boot menu.
3. Device appears as non-dos, non-bootable, regardless of partition status.
4. Device does not boot.
5. Device does not appear in Workbench as an icon other as uninitialized or formatted.

If you decide to continue to develop this romable device, I could make a monitary contribution to your project.

Sadly, I no longer have any Amiga equipment (it’s been about 8 years since I gave it away to other developers; sagasd.device was the last major effort I did)

Looking at the GitHub source code; it seems like it should be adding a FFS boot node if a card is present..

Try -not- partitioning it; but instead make it one large FFS (type 0x444f5303) filesystem.

Looks like the driver never had built-in partition detection logic itself; it relied on the AROS DOS libraries to do partition detection.
