This is a rewrite of RSSNOW plasmoid/applet compatible with Plasma 5

Installation

Arch Linux

Package plasma5-applet-rssnow-git is available in AUR.

Manual

Requirements
$ git clone git://github.com/Misenko/rssnow-plasma5-applet
$ cd rssnow-plasma5-applet
$ cmake .
$ make
$ sudo make install

RSSNOW should be now available among your widgets and you can add it as usual.

2 ideas to improve the widget

Hi!
Your widget is very nice, but i was wondering:

  1. what about integrating it inside system tray? It would be really wonderful
  2. Make applet's window larger? I keep it on the panel, and its window cannot be resized. It is too small, see screenshot.

Widget forgets configuration after reboot

Hi!
I've got a bug for you too :)
It seems the widget resets its configuration every boot; plus on second boot it cannot connect. I have to remove it and add a new widget:

Compatibilite with Atom feed format

Hello, I'd like to know if this application is compatible with this feed:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/manjarobrasilfeed
Whenever I try to add this feed in the app they don't show anything and worse, It's like every other feed freezes. I've checked in an online validator to see if this feed follow the default validations:
https://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Ffeeds.feedburner.com%2Fmanjarobrasilfeed
And I get a response saying that this is a atom feed format, so this is why I'm asking this.

No visible news on Plasma 5.5

On a new plasma 5.5 installation (archlinux if this it is important), once launched the plasmoid no news are visible, but they are loaded since there is both the animation and the link (clicking on a entry, a window browser is opened and the page loaded)
It seems to be a problem with the font and/or color of the text.
