Feature Surface

This program extracts inlet/outlet surfaces of 3D grids. Grids with any type of cell and various file extentions such as *.vtk and *.vtu can be used.

ParaView Plugin

In ParaView, from tools menu open Manage Plugins. Then load bin/libFeatureSurface.so file. Next, in Filters menu go to Extensions and apply Feature Surface filter to your pipeline.

No files FeatureSurface.h FeatureSurface.cxx

I cannot find the file "FeatureSurface.h" and "FeatureSurface.cxx", Do you lost them?

Compilation problems

Hi! I would love to try your code as a ParaView plugin, but I've run into some issues on OS X 10.11.

Following the instructions running "cmake ." I get

CMake Error: The source directory "/tmp/FeatureSurface" does not appear to contain CMakeLists.txt.
Specify --help for usage, or press the help button on the CMake GUI.

If I cd into feature-surface I get

CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:30 (find_package):
  By not providing "FindParaView.cmake" in CMAKE_MODULE_PATH this project has
  asked CMake to find a package configuration file provided by "ParaView",
  but CMake did not find one.

  Could not find a package configuration file provided by "ParaView" with any
  of the following names:

    ParaViewConfig.cmake
    paraview-config.cmake

  Add the installation prefix of "ParaView" to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH or set
  "ParaView_DIR" to a directory containing one of the above files.  If
  "ParaView" provides a separate development package or SDK, be sure it has
  been installed.

The link in the Wiki, to https://github.com/ameli/feature-surface/blob/master/bin/libFeatureSurfacePlugin.so?raw=true, seems broken.

Also a minor note on http://ameli.github.io/feature-surface/: "Detect featured surfaces of unstructured meshed." Isn't that supposed to be "meshes"?

EDIT: Seems the project has been taken down? :(
