Perhaps it's possible to leave some space on PCB for mounting programmable logic and/or ROM so that this expansion could work in less hackish way and support booting

Default clockport address: D80000
Secondary clockport: D84000

But those are implemented by almost every CP expansion. 4-way expanders has also clockports on D88000 and D8C000 and those would be nice to have, since there'd limit collisions with internal expansions.

This can be implemented using 8-bit address decoder to decode D8 on uppest address byte and feeding A15 and A14 to demux for generating 4 CS signals. Exposing two clockport connectors with CSes assignable by jumpers should suffice.

The README.md says:

Binary and gerber files are only packaged in releases. For gerbers see board/gerber directory. For device/software binaries see software/bin and device/bin directories.

Plating on vias works as reinforcement instead of weakening PCB. This should not be the case.

Also, perhaps boards could be separated by edge cuts with one or two small bridges with non-plated holes for additional weakening. V-cut is an additional cost on board houses, so I'd like to avoid using them.

some SD-ATA44 adapters wrongly produce activity signal, therefore it's not working even on A600/A1200 ATA controllers. There's a fix floating around involving soldering a transistor into adapter, but there was also a project of angled IDE adapter with single 74xx chip which fixed this signal.
