Hi Ale,

I Am not able to install parSMURF. The only difference to the Readme is that I use conda insteat of virtual environments. This is how I proceed:

conda create -n parSMURF
conda activate parSMURF
conda install numpy==1.13.0 scipy==1.2.1 weave==0.17.0 six==1.12.0 protobuf==3.7.1 "cmake>=2.8"

mkdir build
cd build
cmake ../src
make -j 4 &> log.txt

there is documented a mode "test" in the main readme. But when running with mode:test it tells me

Invalid prediction mode. Please specify either 'cv', 'train' or 'predict' (default is 'cv').

So I guess it should be predict

the readme tells me that the following libraries are downloaded during the install process:

• easylogging++
• jsoncons
• zlib

What happens if you are on a system without internet connection?

What happens if I preinstall the libraries? Is the installation process also downloading and installing them? And if yes, does it replace them?

Hi Ale,

for usability I want to bring parSMURF into conda. I will try to create a recipe in conda-forge. But Therefore I need to download the source-code in a single file. The easiest thing providing this will be releases in github. Can you do this? Would also be nice for tracking changes since the paper is now released.

In predict mode folds and labels are required. I am wondering why?
