This project aims to automate the hostel allocation process at Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan.
The system allows for the automation of room allocations to students based on their preferences and CGPA. It provides functionalities for students to submit their preferences for hostel rooms, and the allocation process is managed based on CGPA and room preferences. Additionally, warden and admin roles have access to manage room allocations and student details.
The project is built using Java with Spring Boot framework and utilizes Spring Data JPA for data management. Thymeleaf is used for server-side templating, while Bootstrap is used for front-end styling. The application relies on MySQL database for data storage.
