Smooth game start by adding a countdown or pause the gamme until first move

I intent to allow the user to select their own block sprite from a list, and maybe even use their own block sprite.

Game should probably render with OpenGL

New font supporting variable character width

The game could look soooo much better

Pause timer on pause, but hide progress

Window should be scalable, and it should not tear any graphics on odd scaling, so i probably have to implement some anti-aliasing.

I could also instead make a set of predefined resolutions, which does not break any sprites.
