It would be useful to port the tool to python 3 now that python2 has been long deprecated and removed from some distros
maven effective POM
$ python2 dependency-check.py --pom=/project/pom.xml --output=vulnerabilities.json
Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -Dawt.useSystemAAFontSettings=gasp
Command 'mvn help:effective-pom -Doutput=/tmp/dirty-dependency-checkZ1nBuIxml' returned non-zero exit status 1
I thought the goal was
dirty dependency check will work even when some dependencies are missing (ie. they are in a private repository).
But it launches mvn help:effective-pom -Doutput=/tmp/dirty-dependency-checkxnmHvZxml and when I do that manually on the project root I got the [FATAL] Non-resolvable parent POM error.
