Hey there! I'm Andrew Braun

I'm a professional API wrangler

I also make the API data look like stuff that people can click on.

Seriously, though, most of my time is spent working with Next.js/React, vanilla JS, Strapi, and WordPress. Currently getting into Svelte and Rust in my spare time!

Some words have spaces, but spaces not allowed as inputs

Issue

API returns some words that contain spaces, which aren't allowed as inputs.

Possible solutions

(Preferred) Allow spaces, but show them in the initial DOM word render so users know there are multiple words to guess and don't have to type the space.
(Acceptable) Filter using a regex in the API call URL to make sure it doesn't return words with spaces
(Last resort) Check word for spaces/other characters and request another if they're contained.
