Modinfo.json is an approach to standardize mod metadata like version, incompabilities and dependencies, descriptions, creators etc.
The integrated modloader uses some information since GU17.
Classes for JSON serialization in C#
To include a modinfo.json in your mod, simply put it in the mods' root directory.
Many entries in modinfo.json are null.
Isn't it better to simply leave them out in the actual mod, since they will not be noticed during parsing anyway?
For sure it's good to use null in this example file just for overview and possibility to easy copy and adjust it.
It is noticeable that some descriptions are very long and do not fit so well into a json file.
What do you think about the fact that you can optionally omit them but then provide a content.txt.

It would be great if we define some common values for the Category field.
Just like in DLCDependencies and add the list to the documentation.
