swipe-gesture's Issues

Make gestures easier

How do I make it work? Only seems to trigger if I start off REALLY slowly. Otherwise it just scrolls. Any help?

Gesture is not able to get triggered until the page completely loads

Gesture is not able to get triggered until the page completely loads. I want to go back to some page that I just clicked to open, but because the page that I clicked is not loaded fully yet, I can't trigger the gesture. This will be really handy specially when you click something that you don't want to click and you want to go back quickly.

Support for Linux/Ubuntu

Hi @antimatter15,

I came across your extension and found it very exciting to have support for intuitive swipe gestures!

I installed the extension and went with the default settings. However, I cannot see it working on elementary OS (Ubuntu 14.04 based) with Chromium 43.

Can you advise me how to debug the extension and hopefully make it work?

Thankfully,

Robert

Add an option to use gestures only for trackpads

Can you please add an option to use this gesture only with a trackpad/touchpad?
Currently also a mousewheel could activate the gestures.
Chrome has already implemented the swipe feature for touchscreens: chrome://flags/#overscroll-history-navigation
Maybe that could be used!?

"half-swipe" & other features

Hi! Thanks for this great extension... I have an issue where occasionally (it appears to depend on a combination of swipe length & were I start the swipe), the "swipe arrow" will show up on screen (either in the left, center or right section of the browser) will move sometimes almost all along the screen but the gesture wont really "register"... I have tried playing with swipe sensitivity but it didnt solve the problem... (although it helped)... I would like to see an option where as soon as the swipe is initially recognized it sends the command (1 single time, so we dont have any issues with "long swipe or short swipe"... its a single swipe action)...

I'd also like to suggest if possible to add 3 finger swipes? dont know if all hardware supports it or if its exposed in software but it would be really cool to add different things for 2 and 3 finger swipes like on the mac with btt...

Finally, would it be possible to add "go to top" and "go to bottom" actions? Thats what I miss most from using the chrome on my mac now that I'm using a surface book...

Thanks for the extension btw! its a lifesaver! PS: I'd be willing to pay or donate for a "pro" version with the advanced features above if thats a consideration.

Not working on Dell XPS 13 (Windows precision drivers for touchpad)

Hello,

on my dell xps 13 (9360) the extension doesnt work. At settings page everything is working fine though. But in normal browser window nothing happens.

Also DONE-Event (which is logged to console) is not fired on normal browser windows during swipe action, whereas it is fired on settings page.
