Hi and thank you for your bug report and comments.
Debugging the extension with Zend Debugger may not be trivial as, as far as I know, we cannot read its sources.
We will definitely try to contact Zend to fix the issue, but that may not be our primary goal until the first stable release.

I understand, and that's not a problem for me, as I now use Xdebug that works almost the same as Zend Debugger for debugging (profiling looks slightly different, but I did not test the XDebug profiling features).
