Slack unfurls are blank

Because spackle uses URL hashes to store search queries etc (e.g. https://spackle.dev/#search+graphviz) the spackle server doesn't "know" what query is run (it only sees the GET /). That means things like Slack unfurls will only ever work to show the root document. Ditto for twitter.

(my own site had to rearchitect quite a bit to support link unfurling, as we did exactly the same...happy to advise if/when you consider this)

Slack rollups have an unusual name

When linking spackle URLs in slack, the unroll mechanism come up as having "The HTML5 Herald".

Create Conda Package and release process

  • Add a target to the makefile to build and publish a conda package
  • Consider what credentials should be used to publish the package, and to which public repositories.
  • Need to share those credentials with Aquatic
