Current versions used:

MKDocs version 1.0.4

pip install --upgrade mkdocs-material

How do I run a local version of the wiki for editing?

  • Install MkDocs
    • Install mkdocs-material using Python, pip install mkdocs-material
  • Clone the repo with git clone https://github.com/aragon/aragon-wiki.git
  • In the aragon-wiki directory, run mkdocs serve
  • Open http://localhost:8000/ in your browser

Guide for submitting a new Pull Request

  • Check the Issues for existing improvements that are needed
  • If you don’t find anything close to what you’re working on, submit a new Issue of what you would like to see changed in the wiki

Follow these steps:

  • Fork the Aragon Wiki GitHub repository
  • Create a Pull Request with your proposed changes to have your contribution merged into the Wiki repository.

To deploy changes in the wiki to web in the case where TravisCI fails to do so:

Follow the instructions for running a local version and then in the aragon-wiki directory, run mkdocs gh-deploy

aragon-wiki's Issues

Add a Write-Up for November - Tatu

Team members will produce a write-up of the most important things they have worked on since last Community Meeting, the problems they have found and what they plan to do in the next weeks (that can be a bit blurry, and that's fine). These write-ups will be published as a blog post for the community to review on Monday before Friday's meeting.

Check and fix grammar on the AragonOS document

This is an important piece of documentation for Aragon, so we want to have a high quality version of it.

Proof read the document for any grammar errors and fix any if found.

This issue is related to AragonOS documentation that reflects aragon-core 2.0.1 implementation and was updated Dec 4th, 2017

Create new section for "interesting content about Aragon"

There is a lot of content out there that doesn't fit into the "official blog posts" or "news coverage" buckets. Community blog posts, forum threads, YouTube videos, blog comments, Rocket Chat discussions... I want to make sure that interesting/ helpful/ insightful content about Aragon doesn't get lost in the sea of content. Creating a new section in the wiki where we can add a title, brief description, and link to the content will be useful for keeping track of all this great content. We can then decide how/if to better organize it later.

"Aragon core" -> "Aragon Core"

This is more a question right now than a suggestion. Is the software called "Aragon core" or "Aragon Core"? In the navigation menu for the Wiki, it is called "Aragon core".

Create section for Aragon Labs

Create an Overview page initially, then later we will add closed & finalized ALP's to the section in a similar fashion as AGP's get added.
