Hello,

I tried our the palm cascade but didn't have much luck with it (sometimes it worked, but wasn't very stable). Would you mind posting the training set so I could take a look?

I am using opencv 2.4.13,not working
opencv_objdetect2413d.dll (load symbols for additional information) {opencv_objdetect2413d.dll!0x0f7d661d,

I tried palm.xml, fist.xml, aGest.xml and closed_frontal_palm.xml. With all of them I get the following error,

cv2.error: OpenCV(4.2.0) /io/opencv/modules/core/src/persistence.cpp:719: error: (-49:Unknown error code -49) Input file is invalid in function 'open'


The above exception was the direct cause of the following exception:

  File "test.py", line 4, in <module>
    haar_detector = cv2.CascadeClassifier("haarcascades/closed_frontal_palm.xml")
SystemError: <class 'cv2.CascadeClassifier'> returned a result with an error set

I using python 3.x and cv2 4.2.0
