Following our previous thread, re. non-admin user's ability to restart the controller: my point was that a non admin should not be able to restart the controller, but when logged in to the app as non-admin I do have that option.

In all other respects non-admin functionality seems to be working as it should be.

Thanks again for the collaboration, I'm glad to have this option and will pass along any other feedback that comes up!

Hello trying out your app. But cannot connect.
when i enter my dnsname for example
somedomain.ddns.net:8085
then check "use HTTPS" (and remove the :443 added to the above)
then submit, i briefly get :
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException:java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: tr.. (i do not see the rest)
Then i am back to the "Lets get things set up" menu.
When i access using a browser, i can access connect using ssl all right.
I expect the error is about trust, as i created my own certificate authority, intermediate ca and server certs. But again from a browser all is good the subject name is fine, so in the browser i just need to accepts "unknown issuer" and then connect. I GUESS (;-) all needed is a dialogue "are you sure you want to trust this certificate" Y/N.

Dashboard content is not loaded to "Home" page with z-way version 2.3.7

Hi I've been using the app happily for a few months and have two suggestions related to UI / usability:

1. The Home dashboard items show up in different order at different times. I've got five buttons on my Home screen, and on any given day the one I use most shows up either at the top or second from the bottom. I'm unaware of anything that could explain the moving around - I don't think that the zway server was restarted during that time. It would be great if I could fix the order based on app preferences, or at least know what affects it.

2. One of the buttons is to open my garage door, so obviously I'd like to be able to press it while driving. The small slider makes it difficult to do this without putting my full attention on the screen. It would be great if the app offered an option for a larger button widget, especially since there is a very large amount of unused white space. Personally I'd be happy if the entire switch panel would be a touch target. As it is now, touching anywhere near but not exactly on the slider takes the app to an Event Log screen which is useless and not of interest.

When scrolling through a list of devices for a given location, the edit-location-fab covers up the bottom list entry if the list goes all the way to the bottom.

Since the database version is not incremented, existing users who update the app will experience crashes every time the log table is interacted with.

Use the status API to retrieve controller status information including version numbers, state, etc.

Not sure if it's the latest update, or that I'm on Android 9/Pixel 2, but I can't connect to any of my zway servers anymore.

• It shows me the 'Welcome to Habitat' screen, Lets get things set up'.

• I put in the local IP of my zway servers and press SUBMIT.

• A message appears saying no network connection available

I've tried all options, and also tried uninstall and reinstalling the app. Also cleared cache and app data. Also removed and reinstalled the Habitat app on the zway server itself. Tried with three different zway servers around the house and no luck.

Let me know if there's any other info that would be helpful!

A few days ago I started receiving several notifications a day, at unexpected times when nothing was going on with my devices. The notifications are all

Z-Wave device event undefined : undefined

so I don't know where they're coming from or what they mean. I don't see anything going on at that time in the Events window.

Looking in the Habitat application logs I see a LONG list of messages like:

Value Connection lost to Z-Wave device ID: 3 at message of type java.lang.String cannot be converted to JSONObject

these two are repeated many times - at least hundreds, if not thousands. If there's a scrollbar it's too small to even see.

Can you please improve the error messages and / or suggest how I can determine what's causing this recent storm?

v3.1.1 is not working.
Is project still active - or dead?

I have some scenes set up via the built-in 'Scene' app on my Z-Wave.Me server (for example, 'Heading to bed', 'Leaving the house', etc.). However, when trying to trigger them from the UI nothing seems to happen and 'Device type is not yet supported' appears at the bottom of the screen. No control seems to be shown under the 'Controls' section of the UI.
