The dashbox from arkkis

Here's my thoughts of Dashbox's latest release. I've written them in two sections below to make them more understandable.

Updater does not tell what it is updating. Am I updating the software? Database? Libraries? I recently downloaded a new release so I should have the latest version already? Confusing users is a bad thing.
"Offline" text is not necessary at startup. Perhaps it should only be visible when channel has been retrieved from API and found to be offline.
"Input channel here" should read "Type channel name here".
What is a nickname? Hitbox has usernames (which are also channel names).
Title and game are fetched automatically but if I type a channel name which has no livestreaming enabled it doesn't seem to do anything. This is of course obvious, but should there be at least some kind of warning message that data could not be retrieved? Like so, "This channel has not enabled livestreaming".
Furthermore, a progress indicator when fetching data from Hitbox would be necessary as I have no idea what the software is doing at times. Sometimes it takes a very long time for title and game to appear.
Which reminds me of a situation where API timeout could happen or API is down? Does the software handle this or do users wait until their teeth have dropped?
What is so critical that the software requires system administrator privileges? Could this not be bypassed?

Version number is above 1.0 and it's still Beta? This is generally a bad practice and misleading.
There are no tooltips and this lacks in-app documentation. If the software is well documented on GitHub or website and users really, honestly read the manual this is fine but it's a very rare occasion.
Fonts are quite small and the font itself is not very readable. System default font would be wisest and one should not force users to use fonts which their eyes have not accustomed to.
Update would serve its purpose best as a dropdown box and not two different buttons.

Hi when i start the Updater (With Admin or without admin rights) he download the things but the Dashbox.exe is then corrupt and it cant be started.

Letters like ä and ö does not show up on Hitbox if changed from the software.

I know you said that the code is no longer maintained, but would it be at all possible to add a delay to the program sending commands to GladOS?

It would seem that with them both being sent at the same time, the title always refuses to update
