The library uses SkiaSharp which requires Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 to be installed. The exe setup does this for you.

PNG and SVG output

The Voxels.CommandLine.exe tool converts .vox files to .png and .svg (512x512). Here is my example wizard.vox file converted:

Command Line Build

Install Visual Studio 2017
Open Voxels.sln
Set Voxels.CommandLine as the startup project
Set Debug -> Command line arguments to be wizard.vox
Press Start in Visual Studio 2017
Open Windows Explorer on the Voxels.CommandLine\bin\Debug directory
There should be two new files: wizard.png and wizard.svg

Setup Build

Install Visual Studio 2017
Open Voxels.sln
Install WiX Toolset v3.11
Install Wix Toolset Visual Studio 2017 Extension
Build Voxels.Setup to create the Voxels.Setup.exe setup file.

Qubicle: Export Vox thumbnails not working

Tested the Qubicle VOX export for the builtin meshes (e.g. Squirrel).
Thumbnails don't show up.

Not working in Windows 11

Install goes well completely... but no thumbnails. Windows 11.
MagicaVoxel final version, 0.99.7.1 | Windows 11 Pro for Workstations, 23H1 | latest Voxels version

Is it possible to keep camera orientation from free mouse rotation inside MagicaVoxel to an exported svg sprite ?

I'm trying to export a specific camera setup from MagicaVoxel after free rotating with mouse, to an SVG sprite with Voxels.CommandLine.exe.

Is this possible ? The SVG file always keep same orientation.

Installation goes without problems... but no thumbnails available.

Possible to convert entire directory instead of singular VOX?

Basically, im trying to generate a bunch of VOX Files' PNG's. (Around 2800 Vox Files) But using the current setup Command Line Arguements only supports one file, I tried rewriting it to allow this but i dont know enough about how this works to try that. So im just wondering if im missing something that i can input to allow this... I remember doing it a long time ago but i dont remember how.

Add support for multiple object in MagicaVoxel file

botchiball on itch.io made a comment that thumbnails didn't support the new MagicaVoxel 0.99 feature to have multiple voxel models in a world model with individual matrices.

The changes were accompanied with extensions to the .vox file format which ephtracy has now documented:
