I am trying to flash the software in swifitch and I have some doubts.

I have installed PlatformIO (as a Vistual Studio Code plugin). The first thing I was trying to do is to install the 3 required libraries:

• PubSubClient
• ESP8266wifi
• ESPAsyncTCP

The problem is that the library ESP8266wifi is not found in the libraries menu.

• Do I have to install these libraries before creating any project?
• Do I have to create a project before installing any library?
• Which kind of project do I have to create? What do I have to select in fields Board and Framework?

Finally all the components arrived and I could assemble the board !! Works fine and the image is attached. The soldering is very poor but that's the best I could do :)

I'm not able to figure out how to connect the existing wall switch on the board? Please guide me a bit.

Noticed following issues -

1. With the NODEMCU as programmer, I could not upload the code and repeatedly got error message espcomm_send_command: wrong direction/command or espcomm sync failure. CP2102 worked fine.

2. At times the command to turn off misfires and it instead turn on the load - but i suspect that the relay is faulty (chinese relay). Did you encountered such issue? Will update soon with genuine Songle relay and few more boards that I'll assemble.

Hi, I have build your wifiswitch, but I don't know how to flash the board,
I think it use ATOM with platformio ide, then build it , download use USBtoSerial cable connect to the ESP8266's UART, AM i right ,or do you have some notes, thanks

I've been able to turn on swifitch and connect to the SWIFITCH_XXXXX wifi. Then I have configured my wifi connection (I've chosen my wifi SSID and I have introduced wifi password.

After that, swifitch was not available in my wifi. I have connected to the router to list the connected devices list, and there was no ESP connected. I have tried also Fing Android app to scan connected devices of a wifi network, and swifitch was not visible neither.

(All these steps have been done having connected swifitch to the computer through a NodeMCU. I am not sure if it could be a problem with power supply)

(The blue led of ESP12S is not fixed, it is blinking)

I have tried to reflash swifitch to start all the process from the begining. But after reflashing, the swifitch wifi SWIFITCH_XXXXXX is not created. What do I have to do to reset swifitch?

Hi dear.
I Have a one problem when i flash to platformio i see that error message "Error: Could not find AsyncTCP dependency for FauxmoESP library" How can i fix that.
