It would be nice to have a function similar to graphics::pairs having panel figures similar to those displayed by magplot. This type of figures would look more professional aesthetically and would be very useful (e.g. to display the results of Bayesian inference). Thanks.
Hi Aaron!
I am using the magicaxis package in nearly all mi figures, it is a great development.
I have recently realized that the magbar labeling can be improved. For example, if I have a matrix (image) with a values within [-0.24,1.35], when plotting the colour bar, the values outside the 'range' values, which is displayed as blank (if clip='bg'), is too large. This can be solved or improved if the 'prettybase' of the maglab function can be set to 5 instead of 10 (default). So, I suggest to include the prettybase option in the magbar function, or create a function to automatically select the best base for a certain range.
Thanks!
Dear Aaron,
Thanks for the nice package - I use it in all my figures!
I am wondering if there is a way to change the axis line thickness with magicaxis. There is an unanswered stackoverflow question on this:

Do you have any tips?
Thanks,
Earl
hi developers,
I wanted to draw attention to this package being removed from the CRAN repository.
As this package is a dependency for the PharmacoGx package, its removal from CRAN results in the failure of the PharmacoGx package to build on Bioconductor.
Is the maintenance of magicaxis on-going and can we expect the package to be back up on CRAN in the near future?
Thanks,
Jermiah
In some cases, the axis labels are not displayed properly in logarithmic scale, e.g.,
R> magplot(c(1.8, 4.3), c(0, 1), log='x')
here labels 3 and 4 are not displayed.
Is there a way to fix this?
