Since Remix uses Vite, you'll need to provide a Vite config with the Remix Vite plugin. Here's the basic configuration you'll need:

First you will need to specify the type in package.json as module so that remix-serve can run your app.

Now you can run your app with remix-serve:

Run the Vite dev server:
npm run dev
First, build your app for production:
npm run buildThen run the app in production mode:
npm startNow you'll need to pick a host to deploy it to.
If you're familiar with deploying Node applications, the built-in Remix app server is production-ready.
Make sure to deploy the output of npm run build
